DIRECTIONS TO 1317 CENTER STREET, OAKLAND, CA, 94607

I’m at the West Oakland station, which is at 7th Street and Center.
I’m at 14th Street and Center, so walk six short blocks up from the station.
BY CAR FROM SAN FRANCISCO
80 Eastbound, take the 880 fork that goes south to San Jose, and get off at
the very first exit, West Grand. Turn left at the light on West Grand, and
then right about three blocks later at the light at Mandella. Go on
Mandella about four blocks to 14th Street. Right on 14th for one short
block, taking a left then on Center. We’re the first house on the
right.
BY CAR FROM THE SOUTH
880-Northbound, get off at the 7th Street exit, which appears after
downtown Oakland and the turn-off for 980. After the exit, take 7th Street
to the right about three blocks until Center. There is a light at Center
and 7th, and the West Oakland Bart Station will be on your right. Turn left
from 7th onto Center, and follow Center for 6 short blocks. The address is
1317 Center, the last house on the block, facing the left side of the
street. Park anywhere; you’re welcome to park in front of the driveway if
that’s available.
BY CAR FROM THE NORTH
Head south on 80 past Berkeley. At the interchange take the right fork
going to San Jose (880), and then take the very next exit which is 7th
Street. Coming off the exit, you’ll come to a light which is West Grand
Avenue. Turn left on West Grand and then right about three blocks later at
Mandela. Stay on Mandela for about eight blocks until 14th Street. Turn
right onto 14th and then make your first left at Center St. We’re the first house on
the right, 1317 Center.
FROM BERKELEY/OAKLAND WITHOUT GOING ON 880:
There are three ways of doing it.
1. The scenic route is to come in on Adeline, the street that Time
Forgot. Follow Adeline all the way until 14th St, then turn right on 14th
until Center, which is one block after Mandela (total of about four blocks
on 14th). Turn left onto Center, 1317.
2. Or come in on 980 heading to downtown Oakland. Get off at the 14th
Street exit and go right (West) on 14th. Turn left onto Center about a
mile down the road...as above.
3. From West Berkeley, you may take 6th Street, which becomes Hollis in
Emeryville. Follow it south where Peralta intersects on a diagonal going
off to the right. Follow Peralta to Mandela (about 5 blocks), left on
Mandela to 14th (4 blocks), right on 14th to Center (four blocks). Turn
left onto Center, 1317.
